写真家殿村任香さんの最新写真集 “焦がれ死に die of love”。禅フォトギャラリー様で11/24（土）-12/22（土）に開催される写真展にあわせて刊行予定です。

Special photo exhibition “die of love” by the photographer  Hideka Tonomura will be presented at ZEN FOTO Gallery from Nov 24(Sat) until Dec 22(Sat). It was great honor, as we were appointed as printer of her photo book under the exhibition title “die of love”.

表紙は目の覚めるような赤い紙に、スミ・グレーのダブルトーン＋ニスの３色で印刷。本文は、通常包装紙に使用される表裏差*のある紙を使用しています。(*表面はツルツルでやや光沢感あり。裏面はザラついた質感)

The cover was printed in Duotone and varnish on striking red colored paper. On inner parts wrapping paper are used that has two faced texture, smooth and rough.

オモテウラで紙の質感が異なるため、表裏の視覚的な濃度感を合わせることで、写真集の連続性が損なわれないように配慮しました。具体的には平滑面と非平滑面（ザラ面）で、刷版時の出力加減（ドットゲイン・カーブ）と印圧（印刷圧力）を変えています。

As the paper has completely different texture, our focus as printer is to make the density under control through the book. We have applied two different dot gain curve and change cylinder pressure each time when we print another side.
